MEDIATION OF READING IN THE SCHOOL CONTEXT: PROPOSAL FOR A GUIDE AS AN INFORMATIONAL DOCUMENT TO SUPPORT THE MUNICIPAL EDUCATION NETWORK OF CRATO-CE

This research deals with the mediation of reading in the school context as an interactive tool to encourage reading that favors the development of critical-reflective skills and abilities for students to act in society. In this sense, the problem of the study raises the following question as a central question: what reading mediation practices are developed in Full-Time Schools in the Municipality of Crato aiming at the social formation of students and encouraging reading practice? Therefore, the general objective consists of: identifying the reading mediation practices developed in Full-Time Schools in the Municipality of Crato, Ceará, aiming to propose strategies for the social formation of the subject and encouraging reading practice. The specific objectives are: to present reading practice from an interactive perspective; discuss the relevance of reading mediation in the school context; develop a reading mediation guide as an informational support document for the Full-Time Schools in the Municipality of Crato. The methodological approach started from a bibliographical review on the topic, followed by field observation as a data collection mechanism, which allows analyzing the context of reading mediation practices. To this end, the field diary was used as an instrument to record data collection.
