CONIC SECTIONS: CONSTRUCTIONS AND APPLICATIONS WITH DYNAMIC GEOMETRY
CONIC. GEOGEBRA. LEARNING OBJECT.
The objective of this work is to perform a study on the conic sections (ellipse, parabola and hyperbola) from different perspectives, to construct with the software of dynamic geometry, Geogebra, Learning Objects to support these approaches and to model some applications resulting from the properties that each curve has. More precisely, the most relevant historical aspects are discussed, the description of each conic based on the focal definition, the geometric places from the General Second Degree Equation, the conic equations based on the definition of eccentricity and their parametrizations. It is also analyzed in different approaches the reflective properties of the conics involving tangent and normal lines, finishing with an overview about Geogebra and the description of the process of construction of each Learning Object.
