The Mathematics Behind the Computerized Tomography: Projection Method
Computed Tomography. Systems and Linear Inequations. Mathematical Research.
As important as knowing the practical procedures is knowing the mathematics behind
them. In this work, we present the mathematics behind computed tomography, that is,
we study the mathematical fundamentals used in computed tomography. For this, we will
make the mathematical model of the computed tomography using matrices and linear systems.
We will see that these linear systems are equivalent to the image search generated
by the CT. To obtain such systems, mark the algorithms of Kaczmarz and Cimmino, we
will see that these algorithms approach a solution of these systems. It is worth pointing
out that this work has as its main objective the material for the teacher of the physical,
algarbrica and computational form.
