Geometry in Basic Education: from the Reformation of Francisco Campos to the New High School

In this work we present a brief report of the main educational reforms from Brazil Colônia until the present day, relating the proposed changes with the historical con- juncture of the period. We present the modifications in the Teaching of Geometry, comparing the curricula proposed in the Francisco Campos and Gustavo Capanema Reform, through the modifications with the implementation of the National Curricular Parameters and analyzing the proposal of the National Curricular and New High School. Showing the impact of the reforms in the construction of the curriculum and in the teaching - learning methodology of Geometry through the exploration of the questions proposed in each period studied. Next, we present methodological suggestions, in agreement with the BNCC, for the Teaching of Geometry in High School as an aid to Dynamic Geometry (Poly Pro, GeoGebra, Cinderella) and Concrete Material (Geolig)
